so the end of my fire season is nearing, this is the earliest that I have ever been done with a season, it is a little weird for me to be done this early but I am not going to complain.
the hard thing is that now that I have a general idea of when I am done working I have to decide what I want to do when I am done. I am pondering a couple of different possibilities. I definitely want to go and explore some of alaska before I head back home but I am not sure where i want to go. I had a plan to take the ferry down thru the southeast passage but when I started looking into that I realized that alot of them were already booked. I could get part of the way to Washington but not the rest.....so now i have to reasearch it more. I could bum around until there is space on a ferry but who knows when that may be and I am not sure I want to be bumming around for that long....to many decisions and I hate decisions.....help me decide where in Alaska I should go before I head home for the winter

Glad your back and everything went okay in CA this summer!
I know nothing about AK, other than my dad and step-mom went to visit my step-sis and her family while they were stationed in Fairbanks. They traveled around there and said it was amazing, but I think most of AK is pretty beatiful and amazing!
Fairbanks...get along the coast and go up North further.
Glad you're back! Did you ever get to meet Sid Hall and his wife?
Just go...anywhere. I think the wind should be your guild. I am sure it's beautiful about anywhere you go. Won’t it be snowing there soon?
